Impacts
MMTC’s process improvement training and on-site consulting programs have made
significant and sustainable impact on virtually every client hospital.
In 2005 MMTC conducted an improvement program involving four mid-Michigan hospitals.
Following LEAN Champion and Six Sigma training, Kaizen events and a period of
implementation, the hospitals reported the following impacts:
Annual cost savings in the aggregate
would be from $2.8 to $4 million dollars.
MMTC has completed more than 22 process improvement projects in hospitals.
Substantial gains have been achieved in multiple departments including:
