LEAN Healthcare Champion |
MMTC’s LEAN Healthcare Champion is a comprehensive training program created especially
for healthcare organizations. LEAN Champions are the team leaders who define, measure
and sustain LEAN projects. Developing your internal LEAN Champions enables the
organization to implement proven techniques for eliminating waste, increasing
production efficiency and improving profitability.
Our experience has shown that the following areas of waste can be reduced:
- Low patient and employee satisfaction
- Inefficient registration and scheduling process
- Over-complexity in procedures and workplace tasks

- Poor utilization of resources
- Billing, enrollment and patient data errors
- Searching for and waiting on information and supplies

Integral to LEAN Champion training is use of MMTC’s "Real Hospital",
an in-house, hands-on training facility that ideally supplements our classroom programs.
It provides a unique platform for knowledge transfer and implementation of classroom
techniques.
The program consists of interactive training over eight days. At the completion of the
program, each participant will have been trained in all LEAN tools and be capable
of using them to improve every aspect of the organization’s performance.
